Andrea Mika is a mathematics teacher at Jesuit High School of New Orleans. Since 2016 she has also presented at international Texas Instruments conferences to help fellow educators incorporate STEAM concepts such as coding into their math curriculum.
About the course:
This Spring, the Math+ program will be focused on the concept of Infinity. Infinity can be defined as “something without any limit”. The concept has applications across disciplines but is particularly critical in mathematics where the concept has been at the center of the field since 1655 when John Wallis, a leading mathematician, defined its mathematical symbol.
NOTE: The course will be offered in person at Jesuit High School of New Orleans. Further details such as safety protocols will be communicated to registrants.
