Bio:
Michael Kaplan currently teaches high school mathematics at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis, IN. In five years of teaching, he has taught Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. He has an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education: Mathematics from Indiana University. A passionate mathematician who uses high-intensity dad humor to make the introduction of complex concepts a light and enjoyable experience for any age.
About the course:
This Spring, the Math+ program will be focused on the concept of Infinity. Infinity can be defined as “something without any limit”. The concept has applications across disciplines but is particularly critical in mathematics where the concept has been at the center of the field since 1655 when John Wallis, a leading mathematician, defined its mathematical symbol.
NOTE: The course will be offered in person at Jesuit College Prep School. Further details will be communicated to registrants.
