Bio:
Morgan Kelly graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education in 2019. She has experience teaching 6th grade as well as Geometry, Calculus, and AP Calculus, which she is currently teaching at Saint John Paul II High School in Huntsville, Alabama. Morgan has a passion not only for teaching students how to "do" math, but for showing students that math is meaningful, relevant, and FUN! She challenges her students to perform at their personal best and aims to instill a deeper understanding in complex mathematical concepts.
About the course:
This Fall’s course focuses on Probability, a mathematical concept that has both practical relevance and important mathematical applications. The course will teach probability while exploring many real-world applications from finance to decision-making to poker.
NOTE: The course will be offered in person at St. John Paul II Catholic High School. Room location and other information will be communicated to registrants.
