Bio:

Mr. D’Souza currently teaches AP Precalculus (del Accelerated Algebra II) at Strake Jesuit where has taught for 19 years. Mr. D’Souza also coaches Strake Jesuit’s JV A soccer team and acts as the school’s Service Director. He has over 30 years of teaching experience in Catholic Schools in Houston, and earned an MS in Mathematics at Michigan Technological University.

About the course:

This Fall’s course focuses on Geometry. Geometry focuses on questions of shape, size, space and relative position. The concept has clear practical applications, represents a critical standardized test topic, and forms the basis for most engineering disciplines.

Directions:

The online address may bring you to the main entrance on Gessner. Best way to get there is via Gessner, enter through Clarewood Dr. (north of Bellaire Blvd). Enter campus via Clarewood and head past the check-in gate. Agee building is ahead on your left through the half circle drive. You may drop off your child at the entrance to the building; the classroom is on the first floor, 3108 first classroom on the left in the hallway. The window faces the street, so in case the building doors are locked (they automatically do sometimes after 4 pm), the instructor can view students arriving through the blinds and can easily let them in. Parents are welcome to park in any spot opposite the building in the parking lot. If parents wish to stay, there are comfortable couches inside the building.
