Bio:

Mr. Ryan Dacey has taught mathematics at Boston College High School for seven years. He has taught classes at various levels such as regular and honors/AP as well as various content domains such as Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus and Statistics (his favorite). Outside of the classroom, Mr. Dacey is a BC High Ski Team coach and he is very involved in many of the student service and retreat opportunities.

About the course:

This Fall’s course focuses on Probability, a mathematical concept that has both practical relevance and important mathematical applications. The course will teach probability while exploring many real-world applications from finance to decision-making to poker.

NOTE: The course will be hosted via Zoom and will be held on the dates and times below in EASTERN TIME (ET). As the course is virtual, students do not have to be based in Boston to enroll.
